WORKSHOP:  June 9  (Saturday) from 9am-3:30pm -- our next 2018 workshop!!  If you are looking to make a difference in someone's life within our community considering volunteering with CCLC.  All tutoring is schedule at time and place you and your adult learner choose.  You must pre-register for the workshop.  Please contact the office for all information and details.

Barbara Bush was an incredible champion with determination and passion for a literate America.   Mrs. Bush was about championing the cause for literacy, but, as quoted by a friend, "was so genuinely concerned that all parents had opportunities and skills to read a book to their children just as she cherished doing with her children and grandchildren."   We express a heartfelt thank you for all Mrs. Bush has done for literacy education and, as a result, 'helping' us to fulfill our mission of literacy awareness and education here in Charles County.  If you wish to donate to CCLC in honor and memory of Barbara Bush, please go to our donate page.  Thank you.
