February 9, 2018 Meeting

February 6 (Tuesday) at 7 pm -- come one, come all to our monthly CCLC meeting where you will learn about us, get updated information and seek tutor advice and share stories. 

CCLC Next Workshop-March 10

WORKSHOP:  March 10 (Saturday) from 9am-3:30pm -- our first 2018 workshop!!  If you are looking to make a difference in someone's life within our community considering volunteering with CCLC.  All tutoring is schedule at time and place you and your adult learner choose.  You must pre-register for the workshop.  Please contact the office for all information and details.

Cancelled--CCLC follows the Charles County Public Schools' closings for inclement weather.  As a result, our January 2018 general meeting to be held today, Tuesday, January 9, at 1 pm here at the United Way House has been cancelled.  Next meeting February 6.

Interview and Workshop Dates Announced

Our next workshop is set for Saturday, November 4. The workshop will be held from 9:00am-3:30 pm at the United Way House located at 10250 La Plata Road (Rt. 488) in La Plata. CCLC Upcoming Board Meeting

On Tuesday, June 6, starting at 7 pm at the United Way House (off of Rt. 488 in La Plata), CCLC will have its June Board meeting.  We invite you to come and learn about the Literacy Council, tutoring and the need for adult tutors in our County and other volunteer opportunities.  Please join us.
