Workshop

Think about this – for as little as 52 hours a year you can make a tremendous change in someone’s life.  Imagine helping someone learn to read.  Imagine helping someone improve their math in order to pass the military exam and begin serving our country.  52 hours a year can make that difference by becoming a tutor with the Charles County Literacy Council.  Coordinating within your own schedule, you can help meet the needs for our services within our county of free adult literacy education.  Our first workshop is set for Saturday, January 26 (snow date February 2), from 9 am to 3:30 pm.  It is not too late to register.  Call our office at 301-934-6488 or email us at charlescountyliteracy@comcast.net for all the details.  You must pre-register for the workshop.
