March 2012 - News

Congratulations to our 19 newly trained volunteer tutors! Adult tutors were recently trained from March 20-22, 2012 and completed 9 hours of training using the Laubach method. New tutors are now in the process of being matched one-on-one with waiting adult learners in the areas of reading, writing, basic mathematics and English for speakers of other languages. If you, or someone you know, would like to become a volunteer tutor, please contact us at charlescountyliteracy@comcast.net. Another training workshop will be held in the fall.
