Workshop

Announcement -- June 15 at 9 am at the United Way House is our next workshop.  Want to volunteer within your own schedule for as little as 1 hour a week and most importantly make a HUGE difference in someone's live -- tutor an adult.  Adults of all ages come to us for all different reasons  to learn, improve their reading and math skills.  They are making that step to improve their lives.  Be a part of it.  Call CCLC to get more details about tutoring and the workshop -- 301-934-6488 or email at charlescountyliteracy@comcast.net.

May meeting

Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7, is our next monthly meeting.  Curious about what we do...come out and learn. Thinking of wanting to volunteer and just for an hour a week. Think you couldn't possibly tutor --  if you can read this, you can tutor.  Truly! Become a part of literacy's motto:  Each One, Teach One. The meeting starts at 7 pm and lasts no more than an hour and half.  We meet at our office in the conference room of the United Way House.  See you there.
