January 7, 2020, at 7 pm at our office in the  United Way House.
As the year end approaches and we think about our giving gift plans, consider one more -- the Gift of Reading. Every day hundreds of adults in our county struggle with routine tasks such as filling our a job application, following prescription instructions, reading a book, reading a note sent home from their child’s teacher, responding to work-related emails and so much more. In 2019 we assessed and tutored over 75 adult learners and trained and added to our active tutor base 25 new tutors. Our services are needed and the rewards are great. Please help us continue our work. Visit us on Facebook for more info!  Happy Holidays from everyone at the Literacy Council.

Thankful

Thank you to our 5 new tutors from Saturday's workshop.  Enthusiastic and ready to be a part of CCLC and its mission.  Very soon Thanksgiving will be here.  We at CCLC are always thankful and appreciative of all of our volunteers for without them, CCLC would truly cease to exist.  Two simple words and so meaningful...Thank You.
